Howard Leo "Howie" Templin

And then there were three!  It is with great sadness that the wife, children, brother and sister announce the death of Howard Leo Templin.  Howard's passing was peaceful in the 89th year of life at Select Specialty Hospital in Weirton, WV.  on Sunday  September 6th, 2026.  Howard "Howie" was born on October 11, 1937, the third child of the late Leo and Helen Templin.  Surviving is his wife Barbara (West) Templin, daughter Carol Templin and son Sean Templin, step son Michael (Jennifer) West, five step grandchildren Michael, Ethan, Kiera, Madison, and Mason West.   Three surviving siblings Tim (Claudia) Templin, Eileen Duffy and Geneva (Steve Fisher) Templin.  He is preceded in death by two brothers Terrence and Frank, Mother of his children Suzanne Templin.  If you knew Howard you would know he was a graduate of Wheeling High School where he exceled in various Sports and a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.  He was a truck driver for 45 years and if you didn't know, now you do!  He was also a 65 year member of the IOLA Club in South Wheeling. 

He worked hard and could make you smile with just a look!  Howard was a kind soul, loving and just a pleasure, to know in so many ways. "When they made Howard, they broke the mold! ".
