Glenn William "Sparky" Farnsworth

Glenn  "Sparky"  William Farnsworth, 54, born on March 22, 1971, in Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on December 16, 2025, at the Weirton Medical Center. A beloved husband, father, and brother, Glenn leaves behind a legacy of love for his family and a determination that characterized his life.

He was a devoted husband to Misty Dawn (Quinn) Farnsworth, with whom he shared 25 wonderful years of marriage. Glenn was the proud father of two daughters, Ashley Fransworth of Weirton, and Amber (Derrick) Fransworth-Giles of Steubenville. He also cherished his role as a father to his sons: Wesley Quinn (Leah Blocker) of Brilliant, and Damien Kinney (Beth Dodson) of Steubenville, and 10 grandchildren. Glenn is lovingly remembered by his three brothers, David Michael (Kriestel Grennell) Farnsworth Jr. of Steubenville, Donald (Diana) Farnsworth of Tiltonsville and Richie (Tina) Farnsworth of Steubenville, and his mother-in-law, Joyce Boehke of Brilliant.

Those who knew Glenn recognized his strong-willed personality, often marked by impatience and a good-natured stubbornness. His love for his family was unwavering, and he was a good dad, always showing his support and affection. Fond memories include those moments when he would let the kids go back to bed when they claimed to be sick, even when he was half asleep himself.

Glenn had a passion for watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, a hobby that brought him joy throughout his life. His dedication to his family, combined with his spirited personality, will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Michael Farnsworth Sr. and Donna Kay (Welshans) Cain, and his absence will be deeply felt by his surviving family. There will be no services at this time. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family. A crowd Funding Page is set up Below.
