Frank Joseph Reda, 81, of Steubenville, OH passed away at Valley Hospice Care Center North, surrounded by family.
He was born on September 4, 1943 to the late Joseph Anthony and Rose Marie (Miller) Reda.
Frank was a graduate of Catholic Central High School Class of 1961. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at Weirton Steel in the Blast Furnace, Stone Container Inc. (A paper manufacturer) for 22 years and he was Union President for them, and lastly as a security guard at Jefferson Security.
Frank had 38 years of sobriety and was a mentor and sponsor for many people. A faithful Catholic, he attended St. Peter's Catholic Church (very Devoted to his faith).
He was a wonderful father to his two daughters Joale (David Kramer) Reda of Elyria, Heather (William Hilditch) Hicks of Steubenville, two grandchildren Dallas Hicks, Dimera Hilditch, ex-wife and love of his life Sheryl (Theodore Koenig) DiAlbert of East Liverpool, one brother Jimmy Reda of Arkansas, and one sister Delores Hazlett of Columbus.
Frank wish was to be cremated with a private burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
