Frank Ross Blackburn

Frank Ross Blackburn, 75, of Bloomingdale, Ohio, passed away at the Select Specialty Care, Wheeling, WV on June 5, 2024. Frank was born on March 6, 1949 in Steubenville OH to Jacob and Dorothy Blackburn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Lee Blackburn, a dear daughter, Denise Rawson, and a precious granddaughter, Chloe Rawson.  As a young man, Frank attended Finley Methodist Church, Steubenville, and the Bloomingdale Church of God. He was a 1968 graduate of Wayne High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1973 as an Aerospace and Equipment Specialist.  He worked for a number of years for various railroads and retired from the NorthFolk Southern Railroad.  He is survived by his two sons, Jeremey Blackburn and Scott Johnson, a son in law, Gary Rawson; four grandchildren, Zachary Jordan, Felicity. Garrett, and Levi Rawson; three brothers, Roy Blackburn, David Blackburn, and Jeffrey Blackburn and one sister Linda Heine (Joseph); and two former wives, Darlene Lewis and Connie Blackburn.  Friends and family will be received at the Schultz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct  on Sunday June 9th from 4 to 8 pm with services at 5 pm with Rev. Greg Kasler Celebrant.  Full Military Honors to follow.
