Evelyn (Lish) Smith

Evelyn (Lish) Smith, 92, of Bellaire, OH, passed away on February 24, 2024 at home surrounded by family.  She was born on July 1, 1931 to the late Charles and Margaret (Flanagan) Lish.  She is also preceded in death by three children Jeffrey Green, Thomas "BoBo" Green and Jeannie Hepburn,  siblings John, Frank, Jim, Less, Van who was a (POW), Marian, Rose, Pauline, Anna, Peggy, and Virginia.  She is survived by her loving best friend and husband of 42 years James "Jim" Smith, three children Tammy Tedeschi of Bellaire, Rose Yourkovic of Bellaire, and son Nick Green of Bellaire, seven grandchildren Rockie Hepburn, of Bellaire, whom she raised herself, Michael (Tiff) Tedeschi of Yorkville, Michelle Tedeschi (Tim) of Colerain, one her favorites Brandi Leasure (Trevor) of Bellaire, Touche' (Ryan) Smith of Bellaire, Dustin (Holly) Hepburn of West Bellaire, and Missy (Troy) Ochsner of Bellaire, 16 great grandchildren.  Evelyn worked and ran the City Restaurant in Bellaire for more than 30 years, she loved her grandchildren, and enjoyed being with family on any occasion.  She will have a celebration of life service at the Salvation Army Church 315 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906 on March 11 from 3 pm until time of services at 5 pm with Major Louis Patrick officiating. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
