Donald Wayne Swegard Sr.

Donald Wayne Swegard Sr., 90, of Powhatan Point, OH passed away surrounded by family on July 18, 2025. He was born on March 1, 1935 to the late Alfred and Madelyn (Hauser) Swegard. He is also preceded in death by three siblings Alfred Jr. Swegard, Evelyn Snyder, and Gerald Swegard.

Donald worked at Ormet and owned the Swegard Junkyard and Auto Parts for 58 years.

He leaves behind his wife of 40 years Mary Jane (Kisner) Swegard, Ten children Patricia (Roger) Stillion of Shadyside, Theresa Stillion of Powhattan, Donald Jr. Swegard of Powhattan, Edwin (Cindy) Swegard of Neffs, Rose (John) Oblisk of Revenna, John (Shannon) Ruschak of Aladonia, OH, Sandy Rosen of Clarington, Jerry (Randa Lynn ) Ruschak of Powhattian, Melissa (James) Mancini of Powhattan, Jessica Baker of Powhatan, Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and Numerous nieces and nephews, foster kids Kayla and Bailey Meek, and LeRoy Schutz.

Friends and Family are invited to the Amity Methodist Church 53445 Steinersville, RD, Powhatan Point, OH 43942 on Monday July 21, 2025 from 10 am until time of services at 12 pm. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
