Darlene Marie Spickard, 79, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital. Born on August 15, 1946, in Wheeling, WV, Darlene spent her life nurturing her family and creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

A proud graduate of Smithfield High School, Darlene dedicated much of her professional life as a secretary at Trinity West ER, where her warm presence and organizational skills made a lasting impact. However, it was not just her career that defined her; Darlene was the glue that held her family together, a steadfast supporter who radiated love and strength.

Darlene's passion for life shone through in her many interests. She adored the music of Elvis Presley, often filling her home with his soulful tunes. Each Thanksgiving, she would host a lively party, complete with Santa's visit and a photographer, ensuring laughter and joy filled the air. Her love for watching television, particularly "Days of Our Lives," provided her with moments of relaxation and escape.

Darlene lived on a farm, where she found peace in the simple pleasures of life. Her proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Darlene is survived by two daughters: Tammy (Rob) Beall of Galena Park, TX, and Tracey Lee Cutri of Bloomingdale, OH. She leaves behind six grandchildren—Joseph (Liz) Cutri of Mingo Junction, Tabitha (Charles) Atherley of Laport, TX, Robbie (Jenifer) Beall of Galena Park, TX, Rocky (Annie) Cutri of Mingo Junction, Markie Cutri of Steubenville, and Sage (Danielle) Cutri of Fairmont, WV—as well as 14 great-grandchildren: Faith, Hope, Jorja, Brayden, Jaylyn, Brooklyn, Joey Marie, Sigi, Maddox, Capri, Carmine, Jaxon, Carlo, and Zeke, Also surviving her sister Marlene( Bill) Harding of Delaware, Ohio and Larry (Linda) Christman of Columbus, Ohio

Darlene is preceded in death by her loving parents, Willard Virgil and Evelyn Alois (McBride) Christman, and her sister Marilyn Holsinger. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable moments will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, remaining a guiding light in the lives of her family and friends. There will be no services at this time. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
