Darlene Blanche (Beatty) Kakascik

Darlene Blanche (Beatty) Kakascik, 87, of Mingo Jct., OH passed away on August 21, 2026 at U.P.M.C. Mercy Hospital.  She was born on June 21, 1939 to the late Harley R. and Winona (Lambright) Beatty, she is also preceded by her husband Thomas "Dilly" Fredrick Kakascik, one sister Bonnie Maffit.  She worked for Kaufman and then Macy's in the Fort Steubenville Mall, she was in House Wares dept. for more then 20 years. She was a member of St. Agnes Church, A CWC member, and their card club.  She is survived by three children Thomas Jr. (Mary) Kakascik of Weirton, Stepanie (Gary) Ballinger of Akron, and Jeanette Harper of Mingo Jct., and one brother Harley Beatty of Zansville, OH.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  She will be buried next to her husband at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
