Dale William Gaynor Jr.

Dale William Gaynor Jr., 74, of Pine Grove, WV, passed away on November 5, 2026, at WVU Wheeling Hospital. 

 Born and raised in Weirton, WV, Dale was the son of Rosemary Gaynor and the late Dale William Gaynor Sr. He dedicated 43 years of his career to Weirton Steel, where he worked as an electrician in both the BOP and Tin Mill. He retired in July 2014. He spent much of his life in Colliers, WV, before later moving to Pine Grove, WV, where he made his home.

Dale enjoyed photography, a longtime hobby, and had a special interest in hot air balloons.

He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Gaynor; his daughter, Tracy L. Charles; his grandchildren, Logan, Kasey, and Gregory Charles; his sister, Debbie (Bruce) Truschel; and his nephew, Bryce Truschel. He also leaves behind extended family and friends.

There will be no services. Dale will be cremated. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
