Carroll Joan Porter

Carroll Joan Porter, 78, of Akron; formerly of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on September 16, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born on November 20, 1946 to the late Joseph Franklin Jr., and Helen Almyra (Ellis) Porter, two siblings Thomas T.J. Joseph Porter and Patricia Helen Hancock.

She was a member of the Finley United Methodist Church, helped at the Urban Mission volunteering, also helped during Vacation Bible School, she loved her stuffed animal collection, Crotch, search word and puzzel books.  

Carroll is survived by thee siblings Joseph Franklin Porter III of Mingo Jct., Katherine (Orben) Cyrus of Akron, Stephen Eugene Porter of Omaha, NB.

Friends will be received at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct., OH on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 11-1 p.m. with services at 12:30 A.M with Rev. Greg Kasler officiating.

Burial to follow at Cross Creek Cemetery. and A Lunch-in to follow after the Burial at Finley Methodist Church
