Arthur Allen Prevost Jr.

Arthur Allen Prevost Jr., 62, of Steubenville, OH went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2025 unexpectedly. He was born on October 25, 1962 to the late Arthur Allen Sr. and Noreen (Baker) Prevost. 

He is also preceded in death by the love of his life Linda Horner of 40 years, and her daughter that he raised Ranell Kitchen, two sisters Cheryl Lee Prevost, and Dianna Rae Chaney. 

Arthur was a member of Mingo Sportsman Club and GKL Sportsman Club, Schutzen Club and a member of American Legion Post 33.  Arthur worked for Rockies Junk Yard in Mingo Jct., OH as a Parts Man and Maintenance Department.  

He leaves behind his adopted granddaughter Tabitha Diequez and her two children Karter James Wilkes, and Ranell Linn Wilkes, nine siblings Thomas Richard (Betty) Prevost of Florida, Rhett Leon (Tina) Prevost of South Carolina, Elizabeth (Frank McCardle) Clevinger of Wheeling, WV, Bonnie lynn (Gary) Martin of Toronto, Evaline Marie (Larry) Cuthbert of South Carolina, Stephanie Ellen (David) Brenat of Pottery Addition, Lisa Marie Shuler of South Carolina, Barbara Jean (Robert) Blackwell of South Carolina, and Billie Jo (Mike) Fields of Weirton, WV, along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Friends and family will be received at the Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave Mingo Jct., OH on Tuesday June 24, from 4 to 8 pm with services at 6 pm with Pastor Henry Lewis officiating.
