In Loving Memory of Amber Davis

 Amber Davis, age 47, of Brilliant, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 29, joining her mom, Marlene McDonald and leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, memories, and a presence that could never be replaced.

 Amber was one of a kind. She had a huge personality, a heart that loved without conditions, and a way of making sure that the people around her always knew they mattered. She loved deeply, fiercely, and completely. To know Amber was to experience her unforgettable spirit.

 Amber had a love for rock ’n’ roll, and ice-cold Mountain Dew, good times with the people she cared about, and simply being surrounded by family and friends. She lived life with an enormous personality as big as her heart, and she never needed to be the center of attention to make her presence known—she simply had a way of lighting up the room with her infectious laugh. 

 Amber is survived by her children, Nathan and Anna Davis, her father, Harley McDonald and stepmother Clara McDonald, her siblings, Jordan McDonald and Jacob McDonald; her stepsister Amy Hockenberry. She also leaves behind her Uncle Kevin, Aunt Joyce Barr and Cousin Corey Barr, Uncle Tommy, Aunt Juanita McDonald, and cousins Dana Brown and Billy McDonald.  

There are some people whose absence leaves a silence that words cannot fill. Amber was one of those people. Her laugh, her voice, her personality, and most of all, her unconditional love will be missed more than she could ever have known. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we will continue to find her in the music she loved, in the laughter shared with family and friends, in the memories that make us smile through our tears, and in the love, she gave so freely.

 Amber may no longer be here in person, but the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever.

 Rock on, Amber. Until we meet again. 

Friends will be received on Wednesday September 2, 2026 at the Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave Mingo Jct., OH  from 10 am until time of service at 12 pm with Ron Retzer celebrant.
