Adrian Justin Wolfe—known affectionately to so many as AJ—left this earth unexpectedly on June 30, 2026. Born on March 26, 1982, Adrian’s time among us was bursting with a warmth, humor, and gentleness that imprinted itself upon the hearts of all who knew him.
The son of Peter Robert Wolfe (deceased) and Shirley Jean Ault, Adrian grew up under skies that would forever echo with the laughter and kindness that defined his being. He graduated with the Indian Creek High School Class of 2000, walking those halls with a quiet confidence and stubborn drive that foretold a life rich with accomplishment and learning. Adrian was always drawn to understanding the world, both in theory and practice—he was the rare soul who combined wisdom of the mind with aptness of hand.
Fuelled perhaps by an unending curiosity, Adrian pursued seven degrees throughout his life: in plumbing, engineering, electrical fields, and more. These were not just accolades, but testaments to how fiercely he believed in bettering himself to serve others. As a contractor, Adrian was more than just hardworking—he was reliable and deeply trusted, the one you called not only for the skills he brought but for the peace of mind his presence delivered. Whether working on a neighbor’s project or simply lending advice, Adrian’s gentle soul shone through every nail, every beam, every measured word.
For his loved ones, Adrian’s legacy is writ even larger in the quieter moments—those that came outside of work or study. He was inseparable from his favorite video games—Command and Conquer, Pac-Man, Asteroids—moments of play that became family rituals, laughter echoing up and down hallways. His knack for impersonations, especially channeling comedy legends like Jim Carrey, lit up gatherings with joy. When the Fourth of July came each year, no one anticipated the spectacle of fireworks more than Adrian; his delight in celebration was infectious and pure.
Above all, Adrian’s gentleness threaded itself into every day. He read the Bible constantly, finding solace, strength, and guidance in its pages. This deeply personal faith infused his character and actions with compassion and patience, reminding those around him of the value of quiet reflection and simple goodness.
Adrian leaves behind a loving, intertwined family. His mother, Shirley Jean Ault, and her devoted spouse, Ron Ault, mourn the loss of a son and a partner who filled their days with laughter and companionship. His children—Alex Kenny and Gracie Kenny—carry forward his sparkling wit and enduring generosity, while his sister Melissa (Craig) Gorman holds his memory close. Through Ashleigh Wisnoski, Morgann Ault and Mackenzi Jones, his stepsisters. Adrian’s kindness echoes onward, a lasting influence felt in every embrace and every story told.
He joins in eternal rest his beloved father, Peter Robert Wolfe, alongside his cherished son, Nicholas Adam Wolfe. In heart and memory, they are together now, and those left behind hold tight to the hope of reunion and the enduring comfort of remembrance.
Everyone loved Adrian. He was, above all, a good person. His was a gentle soul, one the world feels keenly in its absence—a void filled only by recollection of the tender moments, thoughtful gestures, the gentle humor he wielded so skillfully. Each life he touched is brighter for it, every heart a little fuller, every memory a gentle echo of kindness in a sometimes tumultuous world.
Though words cannot steady the ache of his abrupt departure, Adrian Justin Wolfe’s life remains a testimony to learning, laughter, faith, and the deepest commitment to those he loved. His story continues in the lives of his family, the friends who knew his true self, and in the worlds—real and virtual—where his gentle spirit lives on. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
