Rhonda Marie (Russell) Suter

Rhonda Marie (Russell) Suter, 57, of Rayland, Ohio passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday February 11, 2024 at EORH Long Term Care.  Rhonda was born on November 18, 1966 at Martins Ferry Hospital.  She was the daughter of Donna (Lowery) Russell and the late Alex Russell Jr.  both of Glen Robbins, OH.  She is also survived by her husband Kenneth "Ken" Suter of Rayland.  Those left to cherish her memory are:  sister, Rebecca (Ron) Barcus, brother Alex (Debbie) Russell, sister Donna (Nathan) Ford all of Rayland, sister in laws Sandy Suter, Karen Peck, & Chris Suter.  Rhonda was much loved by all her nieces and nephews and she had a special place in her heart for her great nieces and nephews and she especially  loved her pets ``Sam", " Blackie ","Katie ", and many many cats.  Rhonda was employed at State of Ohio Job and Family Services for 12 years.  As a customer service Rep. for office WorkForce Development.   Her hobbies included: gardening, where she grew beautiful flowers, bird watching and vacationing at Lake Erie, where she loved to attend the Tall Ship Festival.  In addition to flowers, Donations can be made to the : Jefferson County Humane Society (Upcoming event March 15), OR Kitty Komrades Rescue in Glen Dale, WV.  Friends and Family will be received on Thursday February 15, at Yorkville, UMC 121 3rd St. Yorkville, OH from 4 to 8 pm and again on Friday February 16, from 11 am until time of service at 12 noon with Rev. Tom Thomas officiating. Burial to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.  After the service please join the family for a Luncheon at Rayland Fire Dept.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
