Lessie Marie (Henson) Savoy

Lessie Savoy departed this life on December 1. 2023 at 6:40 pm at East Ohio Regional Hospital. Lessie was born November 1, 1960 to the late Margaret Henson's Coney and the late Clarence Savoy in Nanjemoy, Maryland.   Lessie was educated in the Charles county public school system, she was baptized at an early age at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  Lessie's greatest pastime was spending time with family and friends. She loved to have family and friends over to play cards and cook dinner.  In addition to her parents  Lessie was preceded in death by her stepfather Eugene Cobey, brothers William and Clarence Henson and sister Denise and common law husband Cleveland Hawkins.  She leave to cherish her memory her two sister Joyce and Doris Henson, five step sisters Doris Carroll,Bonnie Carroll,  Evelyn keys,  Agatha Carroll, Jones ``Donnie" Milsted, and step brother Ottis Cobey,    and her pride and joy her godson Raymond king Jr. that she raised on her own; and grandkids Raylenn and Angelo king and a special friend Darnell Davis, special niece Shaniqua Short Washington and a host of nieces and nephews relatives and friends.
