Emily Enid Williams, 79, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on March 22, 2024 at The Laurels of Steubenville. She was born on February 3, 1945 to the late Godfrey and Agnes (Turnbull) Williams. She is also preceded in death by one sister Helen Elizabeth Simmons, and one brother Ernest Edward Williams. She is survived by one brother Leonard (Judy) Williams of Bellevue, NE, nephews and nieces: Michael Williams of Leesburg, VA, Dennis Michael (Rhonda) Quinn of Mingo Jct., OH, Kristy (Al) Bies of Bellevue, NE, Robert Matthew (Alecia) Stromeyer of Colliers, WV, seven great nieces and nephews whom she adored greatly. Emily was a graduate of Jefferson Union High School, and attended Starkdale and Mingo Presbyterian Church. She was an active member of the church and served as a Sunday School teacher and Sunday School Superintendent. She worked as an insurance agent and office manager for Prudential of the Upper Ohio Valley and an insurance agent for AAA in Steubenville. When she wasn't working, she found time in the summer to be a director at the Beaver Creek Church Third Grade Camp. She loved to serve and help others, especially children. After retiring from the insurance field, she owned and operated The Mustard Seed gift shop in downtown Steubenville. She was also a member of the Steubenville Kiwanis Club. Friends will be received for a Celebration of Life at Schuetz Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Ave, Mingo Jct., OH on April 27, from 4- 8 pm with services conducted at 6 pm by Pastor Debra Dague.
