Donald Louis Hughes Jr.

Donald Louis Hughes Jr., 64, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away on December 4, 2023 at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born on September 29, 1959 to the late Donald Louis Sr. and Nancy Lee (Polaski) Hughes.  He is also preceded in death by his wife Sharon Lee (Littleton) Hughes, two brothers Richie Hughes and Walter Hughes.  He is survived by two children Donald Louis Hughes III, and Ashley Hughes both of Martins Ferry, grand daughters Haley Marie Hughes and Brooklyn Gooch,  three siblings Cindy (Rick) McKeen of Maynard, OH, Brenda (John) Kanyuch of Midway, OH, and Steve (Melissa) Hughes of Maynard, one sister in law Barb Hughes of Bellaire, and two faithfully companions Daisy and Muffin. Donald worked for the former Minit Car Wash in Wheeling, Riesbecks Food Markets, and at the Coal Mine,  and was a past member of the Martins Ferry Elks Lodge #231.There will be no services at this time and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
