Douglas Edward Smith, 66, of Steubenville, OH passed away on March 4, 2024 at home. He was born on August 16, 1957 to the late Harold Howard and Dorothy Ann (Lucas) Smith. He is also preceded in death by four siblings Frank and Michael Smith, Denise Ware, and Dorothy Smith. Doug loved WWE, Shooting Pool, and his Marlboro Cigarette, He was a high school graduate of Jefferson Union. He is survived by two children James Douglas Smith of Shelby, N. Carolina, Tara Suzanne McAbee of Gaffney, S. Carolina, six grandchildren Madison McAbee, Makale and Avery Austin, Abbey, Abree, and Avett Smith, great grand daughter Mia Carson Martin, eight siblings Jerry Smith of Steubenville, Sean Smith of Toronto, Kevin (Carol) Smith of Steubenville, Darryl (Debbie) Smith of N. Carolina, Harold Smith Jr, of Steubenville, Shirley Smith of Wintersville, Barbara (Rich) Stanko of Virginia, many cousins, and aunts. There will be no services at this time. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
