Donald E. "Pete" Burgess, 79 of West Lafayette, OH passed away at his daughters home on July 16, 2019 surronded by family.  He was born on October 28, 1939 to the late Edith Burgess.  Pete worked for General Electric as a Dye Tech in Coshocton, OH, and served his country in the U.S. Navy, also was  a member of the Coshocton, OH VFW. Post 1330. He is survived by his three daughters Sherri (Kevin) DeNault of Huber Heights, OH, Amy (Curt) Hamilton, of Bridgeport, OH, and Barbara (Mike Trowbridge) Burgess of Cameron, WV, five grand children Tiffany (Austin) Lunberg of Colorado, Rose (Aaron) Demoplied-Racine of Virginia, Ashley Hamilton of Bridgeport, Jewel and Josie Purpura of Wheeling, WV, one Great grand child Owen Lunberg of Colorado, one sister Elizabeth Price.  A celebration of of life service will be planned at a later date at the families request. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stonerise at Home Hospice 68150 Bayberry Drive St.Clairsville Ohio 43950 is Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
